Useful checks
- Notice route and source recorded
- Portal instructions copied into the bid plan
- Selection evidence owned and current
- Award criteria mapped before drafting
Before anyone starts writing, check whether the tender has the basic controls in place: notice route, submission rules, exclusions, evidence, award criteria, contract terms and sign-off.
The Procurement Act 2023 regime and National Procurement Policy Statement took effect on 24 February 2025. Some opportunities still follow older or devolved routes, so always check the actual notice and tender pack.
The paid toolkit gives you working files to turn these checks into a repeatable bid control process.
It is a triage tool for suppliers, not a legal opinion. Use it to stop avoidable bid mistakes: missing declarations, unmapped criteria, weak evidence, overlooked contract terms and late upload planning.
The toolkit helps FM teams keep instructions, evidence, owners and reviews visible from day one.
