Built specifically for UK Facilities Management, M&E and building services tenders. Not a generic bid-writing guide. Not an AI prompt pack. A working toolkit built around how UK FM evaluators actually score.

Built by a UK bid professional with over 10 years' experience writing FM, M&E and building services tender submissions, covering PQQs, quality responses, mobilisation plans, compliance sections and case studies.

Built from real UK FM tender experience, not generated from generic templates. Designed around how tenders are actually evaluated, not how people think they are.

Who it's for

  • Hard or soft FM contracts, UK public or private sector
  • M&E, building services, compliance-led SMEs
  • Bid leads, contract managers, ops directors who write their own responses
  • Teams that have won work before and know responses could score higher

Not for

  • A beginner's course on what tendering is
  • A "write my bid for me" service
  • Anyone expecting guaranteed contract wins, no product delivers that
  • Tier 1 contractors with dedicated bid functions

Most FM SMEs lose tenders for three reasons

  1. They chase the wrong ones. No bid/no-bid discipline, so resource gets burned on unwinnable work.
  2. Their responses are generic. Evaluators read the same "quality-focused, customer-centric, industry-leading" filler across every bid.
  3. Compliance evidence is scattered. Certificates, policies and case studies live in ten places and get cobbled together at 2am the night before submission.

None of these are skill problems. They are structure problems. This toolkit is built to fix the structure.

What's inside

Twelve components. All editable. Built around how UK FM evaluators actually score.

1. Bid / No-Bid Decision Tool

Opportunity assessment, weighted scoring matrix, red-flag tracker, go/no-go recommendation page. Stop burning bid budget on contracts you shouldn't chase.

2. PQQ / SPD Evidence Checklist

One master record, insurances, accreditations, policies, case studies, references. Build once, reuse every bid.

3. Quality Response Templates

Editable Word templates for mobilisation, contract management, methodology, QA, H&S, business continuity, subcontractors, CAFM, statutory compliance, social value, sustainability, customer care, and innovation.

4. Case Study Builder

One-page and long-form templates built around the problem / solution / outcome structure evaluators actually reward. Evidence checklist included.

5. Tender Response Prompt Pack

Nine working prompts for drafting, tightening and pressure-testing responses with an AI tool. Structured so you stay in control of substance.

6. Mobilisation Plan Toolkit

Timeline, meeting agenda, stakeholder tracker, risk register, asset verification, CAFM setup, comms plan, and 30/60/90-day structure.

7. Compliance Matrix

Every requirement, where you answered it, who owns it, current status. Live dashboard. Submit with confidence.

8. Evaluator Scoring Guide

Plain-English walkthrough of what FM evaluators look for: understanding of requirement, experience, methodology, resourcing, risk, outcomes, tailoring, evidence.

9. Master PDF Guide

A 30+ page working reference covering the full tender lifecycle , the glue that holds the rest of the toolkit together.

Bonus

10. Worked Example Response

A fully written, anonymised example of a strong mobilisation response for a 3-site NHS Trust contract. The reference point most AI packs leave out, so you can see what "good" actually looks like.

Bonus

11. Evaluator-First Bid Writing

A standalone guide: what UK FM evaluators actually mark down, the 3 → 5 framework for lifting responses, and the 1-hour improver checklist. Insider perspective, not general advice.

Bonus

12. 1-Hour Response Improver Checklist

Editable Word version of the 9-section checklist. Run it on every draft before red team. Most responses move from a 3 to a 4 on this pass alone.

Why this is not a generic AI pack

Generic AI / template packs

  • Written for any industry, any country
  • Filler prose: "industry-leading", "robust", "seamless"
  • No contract-specific structure
  • No worked examples, just blank templates
  • No guidance on what evaluators actually mark down
  • Get buried the moment you try to use them on a real bid

UK FM Tender Toolkit

  • Written only for UK FM, M&E and building services
  • Every generic phrase deliberately avoided or flagged
  • Structure maps to how UK FM evaluators score
  • A fully worked example response included
  • Bonus guide on the 7 downgrades evaluators apply most
  • Built to be used on Monday, not shelved on Sunday

What this toolkit will and won't do

Will

  • Give you a professional structure on day one of a new bid
  • Force discipline around bid/no-bid and compliance
  • Reduce time to first draft
  • Help you avoid the generic filler evaluators discount

Won't

  • Guarantee a win
  • Replace sector experience
  • Write your bids for you
  • Cover every possible tender format, every procurement is different

We are not shy about this. Products that promise guaranteed wins are the reason this market is full of cynicism. This isn't one of them.

FAQ

Is this a course?

No. It's a working toolkit you use on live bids. There's a PDF guide that explains how the pieces fit together, but this isn't training.

Will it guarantee I win contracts?

No, and anyone selling a toolkit that makes that promise is lying. What this does is give you better structure, cleaner compliance tracking and responses that read like serious bids, which is what evaluators reward.

Who is it for?

UK FM SMEs, M&E and building services contractors, compliance-led service providers, in-house bid teams at growing service businesses, and consultants supporting FM SMEs.

What formats do I get?

Word (.docx) for every written template. Excel (.xlsx) for trackers. PDF for the master guide. Markdown / plain text for the prompt pack. All editable, no locked files.

Do I need prior bid experience?

Yes, ideally. The toolkit assumes you can read a tender specification and know what a PQQ, SPD, ITT and RFP are. If tendering is completely new to you, pair it with someone experienced.

Can my whole team use it?

Yes, within your single business. The licence permits internal use across your bids and your colleagues. It does not permit redistribution, resale or repackaging.

Refund policy?

14 days from purchase, provided you haven't downloaded the files. Once downloaded, the purchase is final, standard UK digital goods position. Full details on the refund page.

Is it updated?

Minor updates within version 1.x (typo fixes, added examples, new prompts) are included. A new major version may be a paid upgrade, always notified in advance.

Is this affiliated with any government body?

No. It's an unofficial toolkit built to help SMEs respond to tenders more effectively. Not endorsed by or affiliated with any government department, commercial body, procurement framework, or accreditation scheme.

Will AI-written responses score well?

On their own, rarely. Evaluators are increasingly good at spotting generic AI prose. The prompt pack is built to help you tighten, restructure and pressure-test your own content, not replace it.
